Volunteer
In addition to the positions below, the last Saturday of the month we host a volunteer day from 10am - 1pm. Join us in our effort to maintain our facility for thousands of youth, artists and audiences that utilize it!
We welcome volunteers and interns that can dedicate a few hours a month on a regular basis. All jobs have potential to lead to a paid position. The following are open volunteer and/or intern opportunities:
- Marketing Assistant
Help spread the word about our variety of services and programs. This position will assist staff in the implementation of a new marketing plan and will include coordinating with local businesses, generation of PSAs, press releases, front of house displays, social media strategy, etc. The job is flexible and requires 8-12 hours per week, between home and office.
- Accounting Assistant
We’re an all-artist-run business and we are looking for someone with a love for theater, but also who knows QuickBooks and has some experience with accounting for a small non-profit. This person will assist our General Business Manager/Bookkeeper. The job is flexible and requires 8-12 hours per week, between home and office.
- Box office Management
Box office management usually takes about an hour during the day, and about 3 hours per performance in the evenings. Ultimately, we are looking for someone to manage this area and supervise a team. This position is also a great way to meet the artists and get involved in larger projects.
- Administrative Assistant
Assist with marketing, fundraising, workshop coordination, donor relations, grant writing, box office, bookkeeping, planning, and productions in this 8-12 hour a week position. The job is flexible and requires 8-12 hours per week, between home and office.
- Production Assistant/Summer Youth Assistant
Help out with the youth program and the shows! Hours vary and depend on production. For more information log onto our Shows and/or Youth page.
- Graphic Design & Illustration
Help create our flyers, posters & email blasts. This position is a flexible, work-from-home job that will take only a few hours per month and to help us more creatively announce our upcoming projects.
- Development/Fundraising Assistant
This position will assist staff with fundraisers and research, writing, proofing, and submission of foundation, corporate, and government grants.
Experience is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate. Please email us with your interest!
